Some sarees come with an unstitched blouse piece, others may have a stitched or separate blouse, and some may not include a blouse piece. Check each saree listing for the exact inclusion and fabric before ordering.
Understanding blouse measurements
Before visiting a tailor, measure around the fullest part of your bust, underbust, waist, shoulders, armhole, sleeve length and desired blouse length. Record the measurements in centimetres or inches and confirm the fit with your tailor.
Match the blouse to your saree
For richly woven pallu designs, a solid blouse can keep the drape visually balanced. Contrast colours, zari borders and sleeve details can also complement the saree. Review blouse-piece photos if available.
Stitched blouse sizing
Numbered garment sizes are not universal. If a saree has a stitched blouse, ask for its precise measurements and alteration allowance before paying.
